Glendale, AZ – As concerns of the Federal Government shutdown rise, Credit Union West is prepared to assist those adversely affected. “We realize the shutdown may create tough times for our members and others,” stated Robert MacGregor, President/CEO. “Our commitment to serving the community is a vital part of our mission.”
The credit union announced that it will offer a special low-rate loan with deferred payments to those requiring assistance as a result of the shutdown. Current Credit Union West members may request deferral of payments on existing loans.
In addition to this special loan program, Credit Union West members have free unlimited access to financial counseling through Accel. Certified counselors can work with them to develop an action plan based on their personal financial situation and concerns.
